Good but nothing to commit suicide over

“So I caught “Suicide Squad” last night, the latest installment in the DCEU and If It’s not anything else it’s fun. Director/writer David Ayer enjoys letting his not so merry band of anti-hero misfits talk smack to each other, beat down everyone in the room, then go right back to talking smack. It’s a cycle that repeats throughout the movie and stars Will Smith, break out star Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, and Cara Delevingne all play well together even as squad “Leader” Rick Flag(Joel Kinnaman) gets upstaged in every scene but by the time things kick into overdrive he’s an afterthought. Then TheJoker shows up! This incarnation of the clown prince of crime styled by Oscar winner Jared Leto is the first live action movie to depict a post Arkham Asylum Joker since Cesar Romero so this is a grand departure from how we have seen him but it’s absolutely awesome and you’ll be begging for more!(Bring on the new Batman movie) At the end of the day SS is just enough filler to hold you over until next years WonderWoman and JusticeLeague films.” ~ Batts
