In the action-thriller Public Enemies, acclaimed filmmaker Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Academy Award® winner Marion Cotillard in the incredible and true story of legendary Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger (Depp)the charismatic bank robber whose lightning raids made him the number one target of J. Edgar Hoovers fledgling FBI and its top agent, Melvin Purvis (Bale), and a folk hero to much of the downtrodden public. No one could stop Dillinger. No jail could hold him. His charm and audacious jailbreaks endeared him to almost everyonefrom his girlfriend Billie Frechette (Cotillard) to an American public who had no sympathy for the banks that had plunged the country into the Depression.

But while the adventures of Dillinger’s ganglater including the sociopathic Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham)thrilled many, Hoover (Billy Crudup) hit on the idea of exploiting the outlaw’s capture as a way to elevate his Bureau of Investigation into the national police force that became the FBI. He made Dillinger America’s first Public Enemy Number One. Hoover sent in Purvis, the dashing “Clark Gable of the FBI”. However, Dillinger and his gang outwitted and outgunned Purvis’ men in wild chases and shootouts. Only after importing a crew of Western ex-lawmen (newly baptized as agents) who were real gunfighters and orchestrating epic betrayals from the infamous “Lady in Red” to the Chicago crime boss Frank Nittiwere Purvis and the FBI able to close in on Dillinger.

Terminator Salvation Trailer is Here

without comments

Well film freaks it finally here we get to see what McG has been working on for the past 6 months, And I have to say this movie looks good, They did give to much story away in the trailer, because if your like me you can figure it out. That being said this movie will do very well which will then crown Christian Bale the king of franchise’s, because I know 2 and 3 are on the way.

Set in post-apocalyptic 2018, John Connor is the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. But the future Connor was raised to believe in is altered in part by the appearance of Marcus Wright, a stranger whose last memory is of being on death row. Connor must decide whether Marcus has been sent from the future, or rescued from the past. As Skynet prepares its final onslaught, Connor and Marcus both embark on an odyssey that takes them into the heart of Skynet’s operations, where they uncover the terrible secret behind the possible annihilation of mankind.

Curse of The Dark Knight

This is a very interesting article and if your superstition in any way (which I’m not) you will find this even more interesting. I think it’s perfectly normal to have many problems on a movie set none of which are deaths and even deaths after the movie is release.

A special effects technician was killed filming a stunt for the latest Batman movie as he leaned out of a moving vehicle which struck a tree, an inquest heard today.

His death was the first of a number of disasters to hit the Dark Knight movie which have been dubbed ‘The Curse of Batman’.

Heath Ledger, 28, who played film villain The Joker, died of an accidental drugs overdose in January, while actor Morgan Freeman suffered serious injuries in a car crash in Mississippi in August.

Conway Wickliffe, 41, was operating a camera from the back seat when the Nissan 4×4 failed to negotiate a bend while driving alongside a stunt car at 20mph.

The father-of-two, originally from New Zealand, suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at the QinetiQ site at Longcross near Chertsey, Surrey where stunt filming for Batman: The Dark Knight was taking place.

Very very sad, and I’m not saying it was all worth it, but for the fans we did get something very special out of it.
